Privacy Notice
This notice explains how UDAI AI Technologies Limited handles personal information in connection with the BinEnQ website, enquiries, pilots and product deployments.
Last updated: August 2026
1.Who we are
BinEnQ is a product of UDAI AI Technologies Limited, a company based at DIFC AI Campus, Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For the purposes of applicable data-protection law, we act as controller for information collected through this website and our direct enquiries, and as processor where we handle information on behalf of a school, operator or public authority under a written agreement.
2.Information we collect
- Contact and enquiry details you submit — name, organisation, role, country, email, phone and message.
- Communications you send us through email or WhatsApp.
- Technical information such as IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed.
- In deployments: waste-interaction events, classification outcomes and learning progress, linked to a pseudonymous identifier rather than to unnecessary personal detail.
3.Why we use it
- To respond to enquiries, pilot requests and partnership discussions.
- To provide, secure, support and improve the BinEnQ platform.
- To produce aggregated educational and sustainability insights.
- To meet legal, contractual and record-keeping obligations.
4.Lawful basis
We rely on your consent (for enquiries and optional communications), our legitimate interests (operating and improving the platform, security), performance of a contract with your organisation, and compliance with legal obligations. Where the law requires consent for children's data, that consent is obtained by or through the school or responsible institution.
5.Children's information
BinEnQ is designed for minimum necessary data, pseudonymisation, aggregation by default and role-based access. We do not use facial recognition, facial biometrics or continuous surveillance, and we do not use dark patterns to encourage students to disclose unnecessary personal information.
6.Sharing
We share information only with the contracting institution, service providers acting under contract (hosting, communications, analytics), and authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising profiling.
7.International transfers
We operate from the UAE and may use service providers in other jurisdictions. Where information is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent measures.
8.Retention
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to handle your request and to meet legal obligations. Deployment data is retained per the agreement with the institution, after which it is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
9.Security
We apply encryption in transit, access controls, role separation, logging of sensitive access, and vendor due diligence. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep controls proportionate to the sensitivity of the data.
10.Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and may withdraw consent at any time. Contact us on WhatsApp at +971 50 102 6800 or through the enquiry form. If BinEnQ is deployed by your school or authority, please also contact that organisation.
11.Changes
We may update this notice as the product and legal requirements evolve. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
